  1. I'm glad to see that this young man is self motivated and sounds very down to earth. His father is a "Legend" no question ! , but even though he recognizes his father's accomplishments and is proud of his father he seems to want to be his own man with his own identity. I'm glad he doesn't come off like your typical child of a legend which a lot of times can act very entitled , arrogant and conceited . I wish nothing but the best for Mr. Scott La Rock Jr. I was also very glad to hear his thoughts towards D-Nice in regards to his father's passing. I'm glad he understands that his father made his own decision that night and doesn't hold D-Nice accountable for what happened. I'm also glad to hear that D-Nice has remained a dedicated friend to Scott La Rock Jr. to this day ! I remember hearing about Scott's passing when I was about 13 years old. I was waiting for the school bus in the morning to go to junior high school . 3 cats I knew that always had their boom box were classmates of mine were talking about how the DJ for Boogie Down Productions got shot. Keep in mind that this was in 1987 and we're in a suburb just 30 minutes of San Diego California so accurate news was sketchy at best. In any case I heard them talking and they said that supposedly the DJ ( Scott La Rock ) had pushed KRS ONE out of the way when they were performing up on stage so he wouldn't get hit by the gunfire that was coming from the crowd. The rumor was that Scott went out like a hero taking a bullet for KRS ONE. What's crazy is my first introduction and exposure to BDP was listening to their 2nd album "By All Means Necessary" from 1988 . I had never heard of a rap musician being shot and killed before. Like I said I did not know of the "Criminal Minded" debut album for BDP back then. I remember the first time I saw what he looked like was when I bought a cassette titled "Man & His Music" which had Scott pictured on the cover . This was 1989 . I was finally exposed to cuts from the BDP first album "Criminal Minded". I didn't realize I was listening to mixes of the songs from BDP's debut album until later. I knew they were mixes made by DJ's from different places around the world in Scott's honor but I knew nothing of these songs from their original sound. I got a clearer understanding of the man and the circumstances surrounding his passing when I saw this show that was about 30 minutes long they did on him in 2013 I believe ? It's name slips my mind at the moment . It had his mother speaking as well as his brother's and family friends . I was so glad to see that the community in the bronx had the boulevard named in his honor. I just recently was able to track down an original brand new factory sealed 1st pressing of the 1988 B-Boy Records pressing of the double LP album for the Boogie Down Productions "Man & His Music" album dedicated to Scott from a collector in the United Kingdom and once it arrives i'm going to frame it and hang it on the wall. This is the 1st record I have ever decided to frame and have hung. It's just something about Scott that I really admire. He was a definite pioneer/legend but what really stands out for me is that he cared about his fellow man in the manner he lived his life. The media has always had a tendency to dwell on the negative in hip hop music instead of focusing on the good. Scott cared about people when he chose to work at the homeless shelter as well as right up to the end of his life here on earth which was choosing to help a young child that looked up to him like an older brother. God bless ! , One Love ! goes out to you Mr. Scott La Rock Jr from just one of the many that know of your father and his legacy. Please pass along my well wishes to the rest of the family and his friends.

It can be found and viewed on other web pages when you type the name in Google. The web page which I watched it from had no glitches or technical viewing issues.
